Gordon and Jennifer
Gordon and Jennifer are doing very well. They recently (April 09) moved into a new duplex in North Fort Myers. Although a little smaller, it's in a much better neighborhood, has a good size garage, a screened-in porch on the back, and is closer to Jen's hair salon.

Brent and Cara's Wedding
In May we flew to New York City, rented a car and drove north about 45 minutes to Bear Mountain. This beautiful place in the woods was the site of Brent and Cara's wedding. Brent is Kim's nephew. We met Kim's parents and her sister, Sandy up there and we all stayed at Bear Mountain Inn, site of the wedding and reception. It was a great time at a beautiful place. For some photos click here.

Kim's Parents Visit Us in Fort Myers
After Brent and Cara's wedding weekend, Kim's parents accompanied us back to Fort Myers where they spent a few days visiting us. For a couple of days we stayed at a small inn at Fort Myers Beach. Gordon and Jen joined us and we all had a great brief getaway. For some photos click here.

Our Jobs at Priority Marketing
We continue to work at Priority Marketing, an advertising and public relations firm in Fort Myers. It's been almost 5 years now. The Florida economy, not unlike other parts of the country, has struggled and sputtered - trying to get back on track. Business at Priority Marketing has reflected this national trend. We've downsized a little bit and pray that business picks up.

Our Local Church
Since mid-January we have been going to Christ Community Church, a small, outreach-oriented church within walking distance of our home. We love it! The almost 2-hour long Sunday service is fantastic. Pastor Bob is a great pastor/teacher. The Wednesday night mid-week service is usually led by Pastor Ivor, a Hispanic man with a heart for God and a burden for the lost. He's a great preacher. On Tuesday nights we have been going to an Old Testament survey course since the beginning of February. It's co-taught by Pastor Bob and Janet, Ivor's wife. They both do an excellent job. We have been so happy at this church and thank God for leading us there. We're excited again about going to church!
